On 1 7 October 2009, Ambassador Cholchineepan Chiranond presided over the Royal Krathin Ceremony at Wat Pa Temple, Dragoer. Representatives from Team Thailand, officials and Thai Community from all parts of Denmark also participated in the ceremony. After the ceremony, Ambassador gave a speech to open Loy Krathong festival and encouraged solidarity among Thai Community. The Ambassador also invited all participants to sing Royal Anthem together before starting the Festival in the afternoon.

The Royal Thai Embassy also arranged the table for participants to sign a well-wishes book for H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej and provided the mobile consular unit to service Thai Community.
